WB is cursed right now

Reshoot all the scenes of the lead character... maybe?

If they recast Ezra and reshoot all his scenes... the budget is going to balloon to something crazy. How long has this film been delayed and pushed back already, 2 or 3 years?

But keeping Ezra is becoming increasingly problematic. You'll probably lose a fair bit with him attached, and there's still over a year of possibly even more troubles involving him before release. Not an easy decision.

Either way I think this film is pretty much doomed, or at least going to lose WB money even if it does respectable numbers at the box-office.

Unsure how the Amber Heard trial, if she loses, will impact Aquaman 2. It'd certainly look bad for WB to keep her on projects and not Depp, wouldn't it?

Messes all around.

I think the number of people outside the industry who know heard was even in Aquaman are <1%. I honestly knew about her more from her association with Elon recently than her movie career.

Ezra for Flash is a major issue. Hard to pull in family audiences and seems to want to ruin his career as quickly as possible.

... it's way too late reshoot Flash.. really unpredictable how things will be all the way to next year. Truly a bizarre situation.

The Heard thing is their fault for not firing her 2 years ago, it's not like it's a new story that she's probably the abuser

DC need to bite the bullet and re-cast both roles.

They'll be better off regardless of the cost.

If it's ready to go Shazam should move to August. It's wide open.

The Flash is unreleasable. Reshoot or eat the whole movie are the options.

So bizarre cause apparantly test screenings are doing well. I think it'll still get released but if to have such a big film with so much of DC hinging on it and... all of Miller's stuff is just... something. Like the press around it and Aquaman 2 is gonna be horrendous.

After this week’s Ezra Miller news  might not even drop on HBO Max .

Still a year away from release  giving Ezra more time to fuck his life & the studio.
It’s only going to get worse. Especially with the studio not saying a damn thing.

What are some examples of a lead star being caught up in so many damaging issues with months/year+ to go before their big movie release?

And why is the movie's release so far away? Google says shooting wrappped in Oct. 2021. 20 months before its release date...

At least with Aquaman 2, it's a manageable situation. If rumors are correct, Amber Heard has <10 mins of screen time, and her scenes are possibly being axed. If there's any key scene among them, I suppose they can cast someone else and reshoot/edit that person in.

It seems that Amber Heard's scenes are being completely removed now.

As for The Flash, though I'm sure Warner Bros. will be scared of any backlash, I don't see it as that big of a deal. Miller is still a nobody to most people, particularly outside the United States. I think it will have minimal backlash and could still make a load of money. It's also unclear what Miller's crime is. It's not a Weinstein situation. Miller is just generally troubled, creepy, and pervy as opposed to being a Rapist or a Cannibal. It's less defined, and I don't think it's as publicized because he's not as big a name. That will help the movie when/if it comes out.

Ok yeah... this Ezra Miller situation is getting out of hand. I really don't know what WB is gonna do... the film honestly should've just comr out already as opposed to prolonging its release and more stuff happens.

WB fucked up by not doing anything back in April 2020 when he chocked that one girl down.
They didn't again do anything during his craziness in Hawaii/LA two months ago.
They're hoping/praying (with the film being a year away) that Ezra is going to chill out :hahaha: they're idiots.

Just imagine how Disney would be handling this.

That's pretty nutty... but Michael Keaton as the new Batman always sounded fucking idiotic to me so idk. Feel bad for Leslie Grace.
