I love the vision of seamless integration between TV series and film, featuring the same actors. We'll see more back and forth with storylines between small and large screens, more so than what Disney+ has done so far with their MCU characters.

You can tell from these graphics and titles they will go in lighter/cheesier direction

That Superman logo reminds me of the Dean Cain series. I wonder as it's called Legacy if Cain will appear. Also, that does look like Brandon Routh sitting there, lol.

They're still copying Marvel. "Chapter 1" is Phase 1.

I don't think they could have made a better teaser poster.

Madden has to get at least one of Bond or Superman.

You say it like the last five have been British, lol. There's literally been ONE British actor in the role!

1948-48: USA - Kirk Alyn (Superman)
1952-58: USA - George Reeves (Adventures of Superman)
1978-87: USA - Christopher Reeve (Superman, II, III, Quest for Peace)
1993-97: USA - Dean Cain (Lois & Clark)
1996-12: USA - Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series)
2001-11: USA - Tom Welling (Smallville)
2006-06: USA - Brandon Routh (Superman Returns)
2013-13: USA - Matt Bomer (Unbound)
2013-22: UK - Henry Cavill (DCEU)
2016-22: USA - Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl et al.)
2017-19: USA - Channing Tatum (The LEGO Movie and The Second Part)
2022-22: USA - John Krasinksi (DC League of Super-Pets)

I got bored checking for new ones, but you get the idea.

I'd be shocked if Superman is not played by Jacob Elordi.

Given Fraser is in Batgirl and how low Shazam will go, as well as the press it got I wouldn't be shocked if WB changed their mind and decided to release Batgirl sometime in the future that it could still beat Shazam even if it sucked. More from curiosity factor.

Going down from a $140,480,049 tally and $53,505,326 predecessor despite 4 years of inflation to what could possibly be struggling to get to $35M and maybe at best $80M total pretty much is right in line with the current DC narrative! :funny:

And ironically despite all the drama with Ezra Miller, the Flash movie is gonna be huge. If Aquaman is as messy as it is rumored to be then that'll probably drop heavily too.

Apparantly The Rock didn't want a Shazam post credits in Black Adam. ... I guess it's a little understandable considering how bad the sequel did but it's hilarious that the Rock kept saying the hierarchy of DC will change forever and it did just not thecway he hoped

To be a fly on the wall during Vin Diesel and The Rock scenes on the Fast set would have been something. :funny:

Its such a weird thing for The Rock to do. In wrestling, he would have to go over his rival Shazam before moving on to face the Undisputed Universal Champion Superman. Getting pushed right to the top is part of the reason his Rocky Maivia character failed so hard.

It's time for Dwayne Johnson to turn heel. We want The Rock back. The jabroni beating, pie-eating, trailblazing, eyebrow raising people's champ. Not this soft-ass Dwayne who is so obsessed with protecting his brand that he purposefully buries the midcard. Ever since he left the Fast franchise every role has been generic tough guy who never loses. He can take the power dynamics of the DC universe, shine it up real nice, turn it sideways and stick it straight up his candy ass!

Now that Shazam has underwhelmed and its clear Levi isn't coming back the tea is spilling a lot on different audiences:

WB marketing
The Rock
Snyder fans

Who's going to be next?

THE ROCK fucked over his movie and the Shazam franchise with his big ass EGO!

Just check Dwayne's social media. All he cares about is building his brand as a loving and gentle family man. I much prefer the Dwayne of 2003, even if his films were smaller, they were better. I'll take The Rundown and Walking Tall over crap like Skyscraper, Central Intelligence and Red Notice any day of the week!
