Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Jackass forever is gonna be huge. Moonfall, if it makes 8 million I’ll be surprised.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Moonfall must be hoping for the overseas box office. I can't imagine how else they expect to recoup the 140m budget. There's no reason to expect this would be anything more than a modest performer in 2022.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Moonfall better do at least $40-50m.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
I agree, actually think the 52 million of part 3 is attainable. I’d argue these are the best trailer reactions after Spider-Man . And it also has back a little of Bad Grandpa, and it isn’t streaming.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Despite Moonfall will have the advantage of the Dolby/IMAX screens, I'd be surprised if it opened better than Jackass Forever, which should open around $25 million.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
I expect a mega performance from Jackass.
Canada's largest markets also re-opened today so I expect a lot of Canadians may go see Spider-man this week and next. Would not be shocked by even better holds from the pent up demand since it was closed for most of the last month.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Pre-sales here for Jackass look better than they did for Scream at this same time. That's mainly why I'm pretty confident in it opening well.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
People are looking for escapism right now I wouldn't be shocked by $50M on the high end. Venom 2 resonated a lot as it fully embraces its campiness and over the top elements.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Moonfall only has one ticket sold for tomorrow night at my theater so far. I checked another theater I sometimes go to and they have 3. IMAX screens probably would have made more money with Jackass this weekend .

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
I'm gonna go with $23.5m for Jackass. Hoping it does $30m for theaters' sake.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Moonfall may miss 10m. Awful, but the studio should've known better than to spend 140m on a film like this in 2022.

Reviews for Jackass are really good. Hoping it can get 30m. Maybe even 40m.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
Complain about all the snow last week (and past weeks), and then get greeted with freezing rain and ice this weekend... Oh, and flooding too. Close to an ice storm warning while being in a flood warning zone at the same time.

It's warm in PA, should only affect the northernmost US, NY and up.

Re: February 4-6 Predictions
To the one person that thinks Moonfall will be the only $20m+ opener: Please explain why.
Presales at BOT are trending worse than Snake Eyes and is 1/10th of Dune.
