Hoping for a breakout from a non-IP film every weekend this month. Civil War, Abigail and Challengers all have big potential too.

Though many people were off on Monday, that's still a great # for GvsK. At least $150M+. Ghostbusters is probably having it's last good day for a while. Will probably just skirt by $100M.

KFP4 continues to benefit from it's great release date. Looks like it should pass Puss In Boots 2 at $180M+. Dune is holding well and looks good for $280M+. Marley was oh so close to $100M and its PTA is up from last week significantly. Losing half of its theaters over the last two weekends has slowed it down but maybe it can leg it out to $100M but could probably wrap up at $98M.

Godzilla is holding really well. Likely to reach $100M in 6 days. A lot depends on the second weekend hold. Godzilla (2014) had a May 20th Tuesday of $6,944,417 from a $93.2M OW. GvsK (2024) is pulling $6.825M from an $80M weekend post Easter. Godzilla 2014 had a 2nd weekend cushion with the May long weekend but more competition while April is lighter so may even out leg wise. If GvsK follows those legs it could finish at $176M.

KFP4 continuing it's solid dailies. It just passed Sing 2 for post Covid animated films and is now #6. Should get past Puss 2 to reach #5.

Ghostbusters is doing poorly with others holding better. Will go into its 3rd weekend with $80M but not looking like it's doing much past $100M. Maybe $105M?

Dune's holding decently considering last week was a break. Still looking good for $280M+.

Immaculate is quietly having a solid run with a $9M budget and perhaps $20M total.

Godzilla x kong will easily clear 200m. WOM is WAY BETTER than Godzilla 2014 lol.

GvK got a 3x multiplier despite being on HBO at the same time.

These dailies are a pretty positive sign for the year's box office. 4 big sequels in 5 weeks with 3/4 surpassing expectations.

Even Ghostbusters OW wasn't bad. If it was actually good it probably could have legged out as a comedy for counterprogramming. So the room was there for us to see 4 for 4. A 65.4% drop on a holiday weekend when everything else dropped in the 30s in the top 5 last weekend. Ghostbusters probably would have dropped 70% if not for Easter.

KFP ($180M+), Godzilla ($170M+), and Dune 2 ($280M+) all getting fantastic runs.

Dune looks like it will finally dip below $1M on Monday.

Not an exact science but GvsK 2021's 1st Thursday / 2nd weekend ratio was 8.66. If this film follows that, it would get to $35.5M (-55.6%). That would be a great hold if it happens for $138.8M total.
