That's $1.6M higher than Blade Runner 2049. Already a win tbh and I think the sequel is now secured. At the very least this is not a Golden Compass disaster with a $25m OW. |

They are almost sold out while 2d shows are mostly empty. That helped its numbers yesterday as well. I am expecting saturday to increase about 10% and sunday should hold ok due to Imax/PLF(around 35% drop). |

18m sounds pretty damn good to me. Even if it follows Black Widow's horrible weekend trend then 18 11.5 (-11% true Friday) 8.5 (-25%) =38, although Sunday will drop more. Don't see it going below $36m with a 18m Friday. |
