Picking the Marvelous Ms Maisel actress for Lois is fine but that’s a pretty no name pick for Superman. Lex casting will be the interesting one.

I have confident in Gunn & Safran delivering because they actually HAVE A PLAN FROM THE GET GO! unlike the last universe.

I wouldn't be shocked if this gets bumped to Christmas 2025 or Summer 2026 if only to further distance it from the Snyderverse which will somehow be in even worse shape by the end of the year. The stank on the DC movie brand right now is overwhelming.

Cavill is a MAN, you believed he was a demi-God. Impossibly perfect features and body. This new dude looks like someone they would've cast on a CW show.

DC hair 100x better than Cavill Love Henry though. Borsnahan has 4 Emmy and golden globe? She will do well.

A 2-3 year gap for the Gunn universe should be a minimum.

Luckily it seems no one was hurt by this so it's ok to make fun of, but seems the DC universe has been taking down the WB studio both figuratively as well as in real life. https://deadline.com/2023/06/fire-break ... 235428428/

Keaton apparently got paid 6 mil for batgirl and Aquaman. It’s a shame I would have liked his Batman Beyond. Maybe Clooney or Bale

Among the 500,000 films ever released, The Flash now joins the top .02% club of $100M earners. Wow! What a remarkable feat. 99.8 percentile. :-)

Re: THE FLASH 2022: Miller, Batfleck, Keaton....and CAVILL!?
So Flash only makes it to 3 weekends in the top 10. It also looks to end up becoming only the 6th movie to ever open to $50M+ and do a 50% share OW (<2X multiplier).
Watchmen $55,214,334 $107,509,799 51.40% Fifty Shades of Grey $85,171,450 $166,167,230 51.30% Valentine's Day $56,260,707 $110,485,654 50.90% Paranormal Activity 3 $52,568,183 $104,028,807 50.50% Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice $166,007,347 $330,360,194 50.20% The Flash $55,043,679 $110,000,000 50.04%

Re: THE FLASH 2022: Miller, Batfleck, Keaton....and CAVILL!?
Out of those 6 movies: Batman v Superman 6 weeks in the top 10 50 Shades spent 5 weeks Watchmen spent 4 weeks Valentine's Day 4 weeks Paranormal Activity 3 4 weeks Even among the worst of the worst, Flash reaches a new low among its peers to spend only 3 weeks in the top 10. Granted, these other 5 were released outside of the summer season but I'd argue this summer has been pretty light following its release. 280 movies have opened to $50M+ and from the worst 60 (with 40% OW share of total gross), only The Flash has done 3 weeks or less in the top 10. So The Flash looks to be the first and only film in box office history to open to $50M+ and not make it a month (4 weeks) in the top 10.

And none of those other movies had summer weekdays. I think its fair to say that Flash is the all time worst performance for a mega blockbuster.
And its actually a pretty decent movie that just got wrecked by years and years of bad decisions by Warner Bros.

Yeah it's really too bad this got so delayed and what not with the whole Ezra thing. Had they released the same movie close to like Aquaman it would've done decently, especially if it got ahead of the whole multiverse thing.

Re: THE FLASH 2022: Miller, Batfleck, Keaton....and CAVILL!?
It's a flop, a bomb, a disappointment, for sure. The media certainly played its part in that, whether it was due to Ezra Miller or its disappointing opening being billed as catastrophic and then snowballing which resulted in weekly drops of 72%, 65%, and 57%. At least its drops are reducing, lol. Once it's in the people's minds that a certain film is a flop, it becomes a punching bag that no film can overcome. The film also doesn't help itself with its wild decisions (cameos, opening scene, and shoddy CGI).
I wonder how The Flash's performance and relation to the DCEU will affect Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. That film apparently has its own issues, but it cannot help being the franchise cousin of the year's biggest flop. Will people have forgotten by then? Will they care regardless of The Flash?

Blue Beetle trailer isn't horrible. It's campy enough and in the second half of August so could have the room to find an audience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wxyy8Rcz4k

WB threw Flash a bone this weekend. Almost tied its best drop of its run with -58%.
It dropped 600+ theaters but its PTA went up from $964 to $2,086 (+116.4%). Looks like Barbie could help push Flash past $110M.
