In the Heights - 1.4m, down 73% from last Friday (which included Thursday #s) but still, a 4-5m 2nd weekend of what was supposed to be a WoM hit... eek. Guess the backlash this week didn't help.

Cruella becomes the third film since the pandemic started to pass $60m. Legs are pretty good, wish it got to $100m but it'll probably finish in the 80s.

Guess those Greatest Showman type legs the studio was hoping for isn't happening.

At least Godzilla is passing $100M this weekend so that's something...

I think as year goes on WB is gonna see the ramifications of the HBO Max deal as the pandemic seemingly switches. They really should've made it only the first half of the year and then reassess.

Very catastrophic for In the Heights. It will miss $30M.

Although THWB hit #1, anyone who is saying that is a solid number is delusional. Its 5-day could not exceed its predecessor's 3-day weekend.

AQP2 and Cruella are the only winners this weekend as well as GvK, which will hit the $100M magical mark.

Yeah there were no indications for a great audience reception for ITH and with a weak theatrical opening + muted digital numbers not many people saw it to spread the WoM.

HWB's numbers after a whole week off previews didn't manage to come near the original's $21m opening.
