That actually seems decent for Wrath of Man. In normal times I don't think it would've done over $15m opening.

A $3m weekend for DS would bring the total to $39.56m...

Mortal Kombat not getting to $50m is embarassing, especially with an anime film having better legs lol

Raya may get to $50m.

Very strong for Wrath of Man and that’s three hits in a row for Guy Ritchie. Good for him. I’m interested but not enough for theaters since The Gentlemen had better trailers. I can wait until July lol.

Go Demon Slayer go!

Lol at Mortal Kombat.

More or less than $3M for Spiral? I thought Chris Rock would bring people in, but I think everybody is still burnt out on Saw. I’ll give it $2.5M / $7M.

I liked Wrath of Man and the casting feels like an epic troll job. :funny: Josh Hartnett and Post Malones roles are even more amusing if you know anything about themselves/their past :funny: I hope to see them both in more movies

That Wrath of Man number is actually the best opening for a mid/low-budget Statham vehicle since Killer Elite in 2011. Pretty impressive, another possible indication that, assuming it is well-marketed, movies are closer to a return to normal than we might realize.

Demon Slayer having better legs than Mortal Kombat is truly embarrassing for the latter. But it's probably gonna make a profit for WB from theaters alone, so I imagine they're content with it.

Here Today feels like a botched opportunity IMO. There was absolutely an opening for a movie that's lighter and more comedic in nature, as well as a film that appeals to older audiences, but they decided to just release a trailer at the very last minute and hope for the best. Dumb move on their part. Ah well.

What's with the 35% bump for Raya? One last push before it goes free for all next month?

Raya is looking to have legs close to Croods. Pretty nice, too bad it didn't open bigger but from the Nielson streaming charts it looks like it did well on Disney+.

Think it was a mistake not to release Luca in theaters but oh well.

More Cinemark Theaters added and more Regal Theaters Started to open. Looks like it will pass $50M and is a lock to beat Tom and Jerry.

GvK will make it to $100m.

And Raya might be underestimated too, as it's probably the most likely wide release to see a Mother's Day increase today.
