Yeah this movie should move its date. May is pretty open after Dr. Strange; would make a lot of sense to move Jurassic World to 5/21 pre Memorial Day weekend. I could see 225/550 if so. If it stays where it is, 225/475 seems right; it will drop like a rock after opening.

WB should be concerned about JW's strength overseas. This will probably top $1 billion internationally.

WB may be better off pushing THE BATMAN to late July and moving Suicide Squad up to May.

With the original cast back I think this is gonna do better than Fallen Kingdom.

But why are the original cast back? Are they back as the original cast or in glorified cameo's that's what will decide how big it goes. The trailer has to definitely nail that part and then as I mentioned the hook. I think the audience love the Park settings, if they continue with the animals are out in the world strategy it might fall. Goldblum was already marketed in the last movie and that didn't help much, I think this will follow JP3 and see a small decline in total from 2nd part, which might not be enough for $400m this time.

I think we need to see a trailer to really tell just how important the cast is coming back. Sam, Ian and Ellie are not exactly Han, Luke and Leia in terms of iconicism.

Only a handful of them got out so maybe they're captured by traders(or whoever they were called) and then the team rescues them. Lol.
