Not sure why they had to wait like 7 years just to start making Zootopia 2 Toy Story being kept alive is unfortunate and risks a Lightyear quality entry being the last, although at some point Andy could have a kid. Just make Ratatouille or Wall-E 2 instead or spin off TS like a Bo Peep movie. |

The crossovers work really well for those Simpsons shorts they've put on Disney Plus. I'd find it funny to see Thanos show up in the TS universe and make 1/2 the toys disappear. But these should be max 5-10 minutes long, not full length movies! |

The Marvels moves to 11/10/23. I guess not a bad move. Maybe Oppenheimer or Barbie should move one week to give more breathing room for them. Edit: Haunted Mansion takes Marvels old date. |

Hard to tell if this is from FX alone. Disney and Iger have apparently been pushing to spread out content more so lots of 2023 projects have shifted to spread out across quarters or into 2024. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movie ... 235326681/ |

I wonder why VFX teams are only being so “overworked” now when when post production on CGI heavy films has taken 6 months to a year forever. Ant Man finished shooting in December 2021. How is 14 months not long enough to finish the fx? |

The release schedule run from Ant Man's weekend to the end of July is as good as I've seen a schedule in a long while. Mighty impressive. I'm sure there will be some casualties on the way though. |

They delayed VFX work on Ant 3 to finish VFX for Wakanda. They had so many releases across theatrical and streaming that VFX folks were complaining big time. Horrible working conditions and even pay was not great as these are fixed bid contracts. |

Another family movie in June?! 3 and a half month gap with non from Jan - Mar between Puss and Mario and now we have 4 or 5 or something between Mermaid - this? 1-2 need to move to August or the fall. |
