A2 will cross 2m admissions today (9 days into release), as fast as the biggest movie of the 2020s NO TIME TO DIE...

Little update:

Today A2 crossed the €50m and 4m admissions mark. It passed TGM as biggest grosser of 2022 three days ago and will pass MINIONS 2 as most attended film of 2022 tomorrow.

Chances of a €100m gross ($106m) are growing...

Where will be A2 after the holidays here ? 5M admissions ? 8M admissions final run still possible ?

I'm hoping for 6m by January 8th (end of holidays here).

8m is certainly possible but not yet guaranteed...

Oh ok in France holidays end by 2 January but you have one week more in Germany, it's nice for A2 run. If 6M admissions by 8th Jan, €100M are almost locked no ?

Cameron still beating himself - A2 still doing better than A1 and TITANIC at the same point...

A2 delivers 9th best 3rd weekend of all-time (admissions of course - in b.o. it's the biggest) and is already No. 18 on the all-time box office hit list...

Post subject:  Re: Germany Box-Office Thread

Right now I woud say:

7.5m 100 %
8m 90 %
9m 50 %
10m 10 %

In two weeks we will know more...

Encouraging to see mainland European markets show out for this even with the less favorable exchange rates.

Post subject:  Re: Germany Box-Office Thread

So after 22 days A2 is now the 9th biggest grosser of all-time (€72m) and just delivered the 2nd biggest third week (admissions!) of all-time...

8m 100 %
8.5m 90 %
9m 65 %
10m 20 %

Great. It's been really cool seeing a lot of european markets that felt dusted show up so big for this. Clearly there's still life if the film's appealing enough.

Holy shit! Mark, how good do you think the odds for 9/10M get if it posts a similar - or better, even - weekend compared to titanic?

I would say 9m are now 90 % safe, 10m 40 %

Hopefully after next weekend you say 10m 90%+ :-)
