The Incredibles will earn 10m+ Thursday; Probably ~14m
Veterans Day is huge for family films.
Grosses on Veterans Day for family films:
Thursday gross - Previous weekend
Elf - 5.7m - 31.1m
Brother Bear - 3.8m - 18.5m
The Santa Clause 2 - 4.9m - 24.7m
Antz - 1.2m - 5.6m
As you can see the grosses tend to be around 20% of the previous weekend. For the Incredibles that would be about 14m. However, it could be higher as the fact that Veterans Day is Thursday this year probably makes it a long weekend for many, so, that could help the later shows on Thursday. The last time Veterans Day was on a Thursday Pokemon actually dropped on Friday. Granted Pokemon was frontloaded, but as frontloaded as The Matrix Reloaded was it still increased on its first Saturday. So, frontloading alone can't explain it.
In any case, 10m is a lock for The Incredibles on Thursday.

That would be SUPERB
But I see 30% increases for Wed/Thu minimum, so that would give it $11m over 2 days, $6m+ on Thursday. That is a conservative number though.
Incidentally, the extram oney will probably come partially at the expense of the weekend; it could have a slightly bigger drop than it otherwise would. But I'm still expecting a $42m weekend for it. So that's a minimum $130m in 10 days, which for a family film during first week of November is excellent. Thanksgiving and Christmas being still ahead, this is looking good.

Thanks for the insights.
Except, now, I can't hypothesize that the Incredibles will have excellent legs because of a suprise 200% increase on Thursday and what not.

I don't see why The Incredibles should increase over 100% on Thursday, even Elf increased by "only" 51%.
I predict no more than $9 million for The Incredibles' Thursday.
If you are right, though, I will be the first to congratulate you, DP07.

Thanks everyone.
And I highly doubt it will get 50m this weekend, although that would be great. I predicted 46.9m. It probably won't increase too much Friday.

achieving 50m is posible with BJs prediction 8)
Friday: 17.619m +60%
Saturday: 21.343m +20%
Sunday: 13.875m -35%
Wknd: 52.846m
A increase over of 50%+ is to be expected today and I see no reason why the film would not increase again tomorrow so 50m here the Incredibles comes 8)
if anyone disagrees with this prediction feel free to explain why

I think The Incredibles will increase about 30-35% today. Not much more than that. Thursday is clearly going to make this Friday's increases much smaller than they should be, so we should expect a $45-48 million weekend, in my opinion. We shall see.
DP07, you really made a great call on this one. Great job.
