Aquaman may in the end break even if it pulls $400M+ so that would be a win for me. Color Purple and Ferrari are the only holiday movies that I feel won't break even but everything else feels like it met expectations or overperformed. $100M+ from Japanese movies over the last 1.5 months was a pleasant surprise and shows just how much potential box office there is left. Apparently Tokyo is the one of the top 3 most in demand travel destinations for 2024 so the love for Japanese movie products is only going to grow if the product is there! |
