:?

Pretty lousy number for TPE. And pretty sad, as hearing it's quite a good movie.

I laugh now at all predictions above 30 million. I have no idea why kids would want to see this movie over the Incredibles. It's not funny, no "cool" action, and The Incredibles isn't so scary-looking in CGI terms.

My over 30 prediction might well turn out to be wrong but for the record I wasn't seeing it as them choosing this over the Incredibles. Kids being kids and parents being indulgent these days, they could well see both.

Yeah I hate it when they spend our hard earned money like that!

Oh wait. It's their money isn't it. So why do we care how much they spent? :)

Nice increases for all movies. I am already anticipating the great increass on Thursday! :D

The Polar Express' opening day IS disappointing, indeed. I expected around $5 million at least. Let's see what the weekend will bring. I expect it to top $20 million over the weekend and maintain great legs throughout November. Even despite the "small" opening, The Polar Express wil still hurt The Incredibles. I think that releasing both movies so close to each other has never been a good idea in first place.

The Polar Express shoudl drop around 35% next weekend and rise over the Thanksgiving Weekend. I expect to it pass $65 million by the end of the Thanksgiving weekend. :)

Bad things are coming for the Polar Express. Poor Tom Hanks, just a bad year. But he picked these movies.
