TLM got so much flack last May long weekend and pulled $298M. $240M budget yes and $570M worldwide but this May could have used even that type of run. Hard to argue with nearly $300M when this May will likely only end up with ONE $100M movie.

The last time a may film didn't have a film finish with over 300 million outside of 2020 and 2021 (Quiet Place II should still beat Apes) was 2014 but you had 4 200 million films in Godzilla, ASM2, DOFP, and Maleficent, dam what a May!

150-160 won't be enough to put Apes in top 10, that hasn't happened since 1991 with Backdraft finishing at #11 for the year.
