Post Predict future Superbowl halftime performers
2023: Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and the Backstreet Boys
2024: This should be the The Killers since it's in Las Vegas, but we can't have nice things. So it goes to Drake.
2025: Taylor Swift
2026: Rihanna
2027: Jay-Z, Kanye and Beyonce

Killers in Vegas sounds like a lot of fun. I think they have to go hip-hop again next year after all the praise for Dre's show.

I hate rap so hopefully they get a singer again next year.

Jay-Z/east coast hip hop version of the 2022 halftime show

Jay-Z = Dr Dre
Kanye = Eminem (2023 is a little early to rehabilitate him)
P Diddy = Snoop Dogg
Beyonce or Alicia Keys = Mary J Blige
Nicki Minaj = Kendrick. Would say J Cole but Jay-Z works with females more than Dr Dre so having 2 women makes sense

Not sure which washed up looking person should be 50 Cent unless it's P Diddy and Notorious BIG hologram is Snoop Dogg. Twista isn't famous enough.

Not Kanye, please. I'd be pulling for Rebecca Black to sing 5 versions of Friday over any apperance by him.

Taylor Swift should be likely in the near future. Outside of her... Not sure of any solo artists. They may stick to duos/ensembles for a while.

Rebecca Black has apparently made a comeback in the hyperpop genre. :funny:

But no, Kanye cannot be trust on live tv. Its in Phoenix, and even though they don't exactly fit the scene, I think they can do a southern rap medley headlined by Andre 3000.

I looked her up. Read My Mind (guessing her most recent single) is actually pretty good. Has a sort of... dark wave sound to it.

Haven't really liked anything else I skimmed, but RMM is solid.

Looks like I got one right (no brainer pick and only didn't happen so far because of a Pepsi/Coke conflict of interest thing)

Harry Styles is now on shortlist. Bad Bunny will be special guest sometime, I don't think they can do a full show in spanish.

Harry Styles would need a one direction reunion, he still only has like 5 recognizable solo songs to non fans

Looks like the gun was jumped and she is not gonna do it. Bummer. Now was the perfect time for it.

I'm calling Drake as the replacement.

Get Elton John up there already. Can't wait too much longer.

Rihanna gets the spot. A safe, slightly boring choice that can appeal to everyone.

If not Taylor, they should have gone with My Chemical Romance. Have never been more popular and would have tore down the house.

The Killers in Vegas would be epic. They played the AFL Grand Final (our super bowl) here in Oz in 2017 and it was great (though production values and staging are much smaller scale than the SB)

Unfortunately I suspect the main reason Drake wasn't at the Rihanna performance is they want to keep him fresh when he gets his own year. Jay-Z not performing also keeps him fresh although maybe if he wanted to do it they would have done it by now.

2024 Las Vegas superbowl predict - Harry Styles.

Random guesses not yet mentioned:

Fleetwood Mac - Might do a reunion as a tribute.

Rolling Stones + remaining Beatles - Apparently Paul + Ringo will be on the next RS album so would be fun to see this one.

Britney - Feel she'll do it eventually if able to.

Spice Girls - Reunion tour + maybe Adele for a British themed show

Ed Sheeran - Safe bet.

Too white.

Could we get a Janet Jackson redemption? She could probably show her nipple these days and it'd be less offensive than booking Harry Styles. And on that note, I can't wait to hear Cardi and Megan perform WAP during an eventuall all female rapper themed show. The times we live in have ups and downs and nipples aplenty.
