117. Premonition by White Lung - 8.2

-The first album in six years from this alt-punk band lived up to the high expectations. Some very good guitar work.

118. Wet Leg by Wet Leg - 7.9

-Not sure why it took me so long to listen to this but I'm glad I finally did.

119. Alpha Zulu by Phoenix - 5.6

-Eh, maybe I'm sick of this type of sound. I don't think they sound any worse than usual but I was bored for most of it.

120. Alpenglow by Trampled By Turtles* - 5.5

-I know what you're thinking and yes, I only listened to this because I thought the band's name was funny. It's a decent folk album for folks who like folk music, but not really my thing.

121. Past Lives by LS Dunes - 7

-The mysterious supergroup's album sounded better than it did at riotfest honestly. They must have still been working out the kinks back in September.

122. No Thank You by Lil Simz - 8.8

-Well this sure came out of nowhere. Gotta love stealth releases during the holidays. Simz continues on her path to becoming the best women rapper of all time.

123. King's Disease III by Nas - 9.5

-Last year's King's Disease II was a top ten album, and Nas has somehow topped it for the finale of his trilogy. Very impressive. He may not be the #1 rapper, but Nas has got to be the most consistent. Who else could deliver an album like this after 30 years in the game?



Surprisingly fantastic late game update. I'm gonna have to let these settle before any listmaking can be done. Will post one more update with the final two albums in my queue + anything else I discover before the year is over.

Might have to update the flava'd fifty too. Turns out the reason I barely had any metalcore on my list is because I missed all the best stuff. :funny: Bad Bunny is not metal, but this album was alot better than the last and Alvvways are more alternative, right up my alley, but somehow got skipped over.
