It's not a bad song. Feels more folky than country, which explains the mostly liberal leaning lyrics.

One more week and the top 2 songs for most weeks at #1 will both be country songs.

1 Lil Nas X 19 weeks

Tied with One Sweet Day and Despacito at 16 weeks.

Rich Men North of Richmond Debuts at No. 1 as Oliver Anthony Makes Billboard Chart History as the first artist to reach #1 with no previous chart history! :whaa:

Wow country is turning into a dominating force like 90s / 00s hip hop if this keeps up.

Zach Bryan debuts #1 now. Doesn't look like Last Night will take the record after all.

Country's 2023 dominance is really something.

Has an artist debuted at #1 and gotten arrested with a mugshot in the same week? Sure it's happened but just seems to help their sales.

Vampire back at #1. Will it be the last time a good song tops the chart this year?

Drake is #1. That shouldn't be surprising, but it is actually the first time a hip-hop song has been #1 all year! That's so crazy after the genre dominated these charts for so many years.

You can argue Kill Bill was (and Doja beat Drake by a week) but it’s still hard to believe, the end of 2022 was also non hip hop with Unholy, Anti Hero and All I Want For Christmas

Female rap is doing great but something seems to have been lost on the male side without stars you can understand or with non trap beat style. All My Life was more a song that could have come out in 2008 and hit.

Post Malone, Drake and Cardi B are all not as popular as they were 5 years ago.

This is blowing up in Europe. I don't really like her voice but damn that beat is infectious. Totally seems like the type of song that will spend three months in the 4-9 range on the hot 100.

The charts were more interesting when country was hijacking it than the usual Drake and Doja type artists

*Nsync’s Better Place (debuted #25) is a pretty decent Can’t Stop the Feeling 2.0 attempt
