Dream Theater, anyone?
Does anyone like these guys as much as I do? The great lyrics, the great vocals by Lebrie. The great guitar solos by John Petrucci. Evereything by these men is magical. I just baught Images and Shapes today, I already own a few other of their albums, and am amazed even more by these men. Everything falls together so well and in to place. They are truly revolutionaries. To hear a song, I have gathered an mp3 for you.
Note, they are more of a metal type band, but I would listen to this even if you don't like that brand of music.

The song is in two parts.

I was like that, hearing about them but never listening to them. Then one day I decieded to download some of thier songs out of curiosity. I was hooked. Go get something from them. They are known as a gateway band because they tend to lead poeple inot many other great bands.

I always knew about em but never really gave em a listen til a while back. I downloaded their cover version of led zeppelin's The Rover/Achilles' Last Stand and it was amazing. I downloaded a couple other tracks from em and they were pretty damn good. If my paycheck would have been a little bigger last week I would have picked up one of their cd's.
p.s. Dale Gribble aka Rusty Shackelford (when ordering pizza) rocks!

I am a big king of the hill fan. I use that name on any forum I spam. I started to spam here, but the admin kind of talked me out of it.

Dream Theater were (assume and still) excellent. Our drummer was a great fan of them. I listened some of them as well, but long time ago, can't remember any song now.
What about Queensryche?
