I liked her a lot on Look Who's Talking. Great series of films. But like all female stars not called Nicole Kidman, their careers are short and usually tied to one or two properties, like Kathleen Turner. I've no idea what she did since the 90s. But 71 isn't a bad age to depart. She avoids those terrible, frail years, and she lived a good starry life, so while it's a shame to die of cancer, she had a much better life than most.

Turner got very sick in the early 90s, added to her reputation of being difficult to work with, but her trademark voice and physical appearance changed very quickly from her treatments.

I did enjoy her on friends and the Kominsky method though.

Seems like Jeremy Renner was close... And might not be fully in the clear yet either.

Best wishes for Renner's recovery, sounds like such a horrific accident.

Missed this one. Sad. I used to get her and Joy Behar confused

Gianluca Vialli, Former Chelsea, Juventus and Italy footballer. He was 58.

This is quite a shock.

Lisa Marie Presley. Sadly I am sure not many are surprised, stressful last few years for her.

RIP. No surprise at early death since it seems like she put her body through a lot with drugs and I read that in addition to Elvis, Elvis mom died in her 40s from heart attack, and dad in his 60s from it.

It would have been cool if someone was born with MJ and Elvis genes. She also briefly married Nic Cage so a Cage/Elvis cross would be interesting.

RIP Richard Belzer (Law and Order).

Also looks like Tom Sizemore is not doing well so hope he makes it ok.

While most people think SVU was a straight up spinoff, it actually was originally created around Belzer who played Munch on Homicide life on the streets. I think he has the record for playing the same character in 5 different series.

I can't remember every celebrity death in recent years but it feels like Tom Sizemore's passing might be the first of the main actors that I grew up knowing and watching. In any case, it's sad that he's passed on. But I get the sense that he wasn't loved by the industry at all. I don't have Twitter but I do read articles and Deadline has shown all the tweets from famous people expressing their hurt. The biggest names of the five shown were Robert Davi and Bai Ling. Big whoop.

Random death for a busy character actor to this day. The Wire joins Glee as a cursed show.

Random is right. And it sucks. He's always fun and enjoyable in whatever he's in. Recently, he had a great regular part on the Comedy Central series Corporate.

He was so enjoyable in the John Wick franchise. Definitely will make the new film more poignant.
