How TF is Elon this rich? It's not like Teslas have overtaken the globe. Amazon 386 million revenue Bezos owns like 10%, Tesla 30 billion revenue Musk owns 22% = Musk is 100 billion ahead? Is it a bubble?

His net worth is going to reach $1 trillion eventually, isn't it? There are, currently, only 17 countries with a GPD at/above $1 trillion.

He's (at $300 billion) currently worth:

1.4% of US (he's worth more than 28 states)
2.0% of China
6.0% of Japan
7.8% of Germany
11.1% of UK
.
.
.
18.2% of Canada
20.8% of Brazil
22.5% of Australia
27.9% of Mexico
39.9% of Switzerland
42.9% of Saudi Arabia

And he's likely to surpass several countries, such as Singapore, Denmark, Norway, Argentina, and Israel in the near-ish future it seems.

Tesla will have future monopoly on Mars, so doesn’t need high market share on Earth, Also Elon might obtain millions of willing participants to become his future army of cyborgs by ending their world hunger.

What is everyone's thoughts about the impact of Spiderman on AMC? It went up 20% on Friday as sneak numbers started to come in.

For investors a week earlier would have been a great deal to buy those AMC stocks.

NFLX plunged after hours with its first subscriber drop in 10 years!

After hours 258.90 −89.71 (25.73%). Market cap is now 115B after being at 306B in Nov. 2021.

Disney, Spotify and Roku have also dropped.

It sounds like them suspending it in Russia is the main reason why.

Could be reading this wrong, but there's also a limited amount of people to reach, I imagine. And given Netflix's age, they're bound to approach or hit it first.

Obviously I understand about wanting to increase your base and profits, but there's bound to be an eventual... not limit, but more if a high ceiling that you can't really go beyond.

I don't know. Feels like expecting X amount of new subscribers and X amount of profits every quarter, year, or whatever doesn't fit the streaming industry very well.

Think there's a variety of factors, building a brand of cancelling everything, long gaps in between seasons for flagships like Stranger Things, but the biggest issue is competition and other streaming shows taking their buzz. The binge drop model also could be backfiring a bit now by preventing discussions in between episodes or WOM to build up for something by the end of the season. I never liked Netflix's shows quality wise but I'm not going to pretend that has much correlation to success.

Obviously Tesla has more growth potential, since it is currently growing faster, and the EV market will continue to gain share from fossil fuels.

My portfolio is getting raped. Cut in half since Nov 21. I wanna buy more to take advantage but don't really have the money to play around with nor the confidence that we will be bouncing back anytime soon. Seems like there is one calamity after another in 2022.

The Biden Bump from Nov 20 - Nov 21 was awesome. I don't really know what he could have done to prevent this. He never even got the senate to vote on his three trillion dollar Build Back Better bill. The conservatives seem to be way more concerned with turning us into Evangelamerica than doing anything to help the economy.

The market is based on speculation and the future looks grim.

I like the idea of both an Evangelamerica and a booming economy. :-D

We'll right the ship during midterms and especially in 2024.

BBBY dropped 40% during after hours! Brutal. Still a nice squeeze for anyone who sold on time.
