Generally hate it when people address themselves/ are addressed with their middle name as a letter, "Stephen A. (Smith)", "Steven C. (Miller)" are two that come to mind.

lol. And I have no idea why some people choose to do this. Is it to differentiate between a father that has the same name? I never see a female write their name in this way.

Saying Congrats on someone's birthday. You're basically saying "Hey you're alive!" and it diminishes the birthday because you can say that any day. Just say Happy Birthday!

Isn't "happy birthday" also essentially saying "you've lived to reach this age, well done", which is basically saying "hey you're alive!"? I think any form of greeting on someone's birthday is silly, yet I still do it because it's what people do and I can't be assed with the kerfuffle of not.

No. Happy Birthday is a recognition and a celebration of your birth.

Congratulations are for weddings, job promotions, or any kind of positive advancement in your life. As you get older so many birthdays are meaningless just like any other day. It's not worth a congrats.. Maybe the one when you can go to a bar, or you got your driving license but that is it.

Would you say Congrats to a guy at his wake? Of course not. And we can add the assholes that say Happy Death Day for their family too. Way too Morbid for me.

lol. Which is still something that you had no control over. Might as well celebrate people's race for that matter. Happy White, Thegun!

Very true. But there is a term created for it. So get over that, no one ever has to wish me a happy birthday. Certainly not congratulate me.

Moving on. People who put milk in first, then add cereal. Fucking Moronic.

Also hate people that say "This is the definitive way" to cook something. No it fucking isn't. I'm looking at you Gordon Ramsay.

When people use an abbreviation then proceed to tell us what said abbreviation means. One or the other, people!

American sports are all about making up new acronyms for stats then proceeding to explain what they mean. Do you have WAR, wins above replacement, in soccer?

That's exactly how people do it. Drives me nuts, lol.
