Pete Rose is not in the Hall of Fame. Unfortunately for baseball, there is so much politics involved when it comes to who gets in, which is a shame. If a dude is an asshole but he was great, let them in.

Francona should win manager of the year. I know the division sucked, but to take this team full of rookies/second-year players to 90+ wins has to be one of the more impressive accomplishments in his career. The Rays are crumbling and the Yankees are soft. Can Tito redeem 2016?? Probably not, but there's a chance!

I like the rule change, teams like Mets and Blue Jays being potentially eliminated in 2 games is brutal, but the regular season is supposed to matter more in MLB, the Mets losing 2nd seed to Braves was huge.
