The most surprising part of yesterday for me was Belgium/Holland receiving twice the amount of votes of England in the first round. Also Australia only getting one in the first round was not expected. The winners, if one followed the process, were not a surprise. |

So the FIFA found out that Qatar isnt a good place for human rights and that slavery is a problem there. Of course they couldnt know it before they gave it to Qatar Way to go FIFA. and yeah I am a bit ashamed that in the first post I was more thinking of beer and boobies than the rest

Qatar has grass and stadiums, and that's all you really need. I don't see why Qatar having bad treatment of women or gays should deter FIFA from giving them the World Cup. |

 no offense, but Qatar seems like a boring place to me, though maybe I could be as surprised as I was with Southafrica that turned out to be fun.Still, all the unfair human rights stuff there sucks, they should have improved and upgraded their laws decades ago

Qatar was the most ridiculous choice ever. Fucking corruption bullshit. And I am not talking about humoan rights violations and other stuff (because then you could start taking issue with a lot more events), I am talking fucking QATAR...with 50 degree heat in the summer and the fact that...who the fuck will want to travel to fucking Qatar for the World Cup? |
