The Bruins were due for a game like today's. I just have no idea why they couldn't do it against the Canucks (going to the game on Tuesday night!), the Flames and the Oilers. |

Bye bye Peter Chiarelli. He brought the Cup back to Boston, but his immediate legacy is that he's the guy who gave up on Seguin and traded away Boychuk, the latter of which was at least understandable because he wasn't going to resign here this offseason. It might have been best to get another year out of him, but that's hindsight for ya. It looks like he screwed up royally on Seguin though. He was never going to be a high scorer here in Boston, but considering that would've been under Claude's system, and Claude might not even be here by next week, ultimately we'll never know. And as much as I think Claude has been a great coach, I wouldn't mind seeing the Bruins open their game up. |

Man, I can't believe the Wings pulled out that win with. Tampa was owning them the entire game. Mrazek was fantastic stopping 40+ shots. And Datsyuk of course was the savior for the sloppy offense. Let's see if they can also take game 2! |
