Russia have Andrei Arshivan back playing for them which makes a big difference, plus the defeat against Spain was a tad flattering to the Spaniards, the game was closer then that.

Russia was harshly defeated by Spain in its first game, but after that game they recovered an important player and went to defeat Greece and Sweden, and in the quarterfinal Holland, the team that had been playing the best football so far in the tournament. And it wasn't a win by luck, but a win where they showed great physical strength and some very dangerous players near the goal area.

Ah, I see. I was wondering what happened to my Dutch Darlings, as in the past they've always been my favorite team. They play beautiful soccer, but always implode at some stage in the later rounds.

Its nice to hear this will be a closer game Price and Gulli. I like 'em close and nail-biting. But I always have my doubts when people credit a big come-back to one player returning, so its good (or bad, depending on one's position) to hear that Russia played well as an entire team in the post-rounds.
