Michigan lost to #23 michigan state and unranked Iowa.
Arkansas beat 2 ranked teams, #9 south carolina and #25 auburn
Arkansas lost to #1 LSU and #2 Alabama

Re: 2011 College Football Season Michigan has a Top 10 defense, a Top 25 scoring offense and a Top 15 rushing offense in the COUNTRY.
They struggle against extremely physical teams. (Iowa/MichSt) Arkansas is the opposite of a physical team.

And, VT deserves it even less. They got blown out twice by Clemson.
I'm not defending it. But why would I complain about Michigan being in a high profile bowl game?

I am an Clemson alumni, but I wouldn't defend it if they had got into a BCS game like Va Tech did. I think it is a joke and shows the system is a joke.
