I was surprised that Caroline lost but then I read that Zvonareva had made the Wimby final, so she's no pushover. I would have preferred to see Caroline in the final though.

Venus let this one slip through her fingers. I was watching the last set and when she broke Clijsters to take it 4 all in the third I was excited but Clijsters is such a nice player I began to root for her and hope for a tie break. Damn. Venus was unable to serve and the rest was history.

I'm positive Clijsters will win this in 2. 6-3 6-4

It's ridiculous that the local affiliates aren't airing the final on there stupid sub-stations. No, instead we have to watch this FINAL on the freaking Internet. Now, I guess it would be fine if you are have a fast connection but the connection I'm using is on the low end. It's just ridiculous. I'm watching this shit right now but it should be on damn tv.

Great job nadal. I can't believe he's so close to federer now. It's amazing to witness. It's like we have our own evert/Navratilova combo going on. Sampras/Agassi thing.

Nadal's had tough luck with injuries the last two Aus Open quarterfinals. It is unfortunate that he won't be in the semifinals, but now is the best chance for Murray to win his first Major, and Djoker for his second.
So here are the semifinals:

Womens Semfinals to be played not before 9.30pm EST
Caroline Wozniacki DEN (1) vs Na Li CHN (9)
Kim Clijsters BEL (3) vs Vera Zvonareva RUS (2)

Na Li is playing the best of the four remaining women. The rest have instances where they string together multiple errors and drop consecutive games in minutes. Who would have thought the four remaining women would collectively have a lower seeding (if we sum them) than the four remaining men.

Mens Semifinals
David Ferrer ESP (7) vs Andy Murray GBR (5)
Novak Djokovic SRB (3) vs Roger Federer SUI (2)

I'd like to see a rematch of last years final, however Novak is playing extremely well. I can see him taking it all.

What a game by Li Na! She will always have a lot of errors, but she goes for it every time. And what a post-game interview! I'm so happy for her. She is still undefeated for this year and beat Clijgsters in the warmup final, so hopefully she could take that final step.

Yes, fantastic win by Li Na! Watched her last game and couldnt help but feel she would atleast get to the final. So happy for her too. What happened in the post game interview?? (Damn, all the good matches are on when im at work, should really have gone to the Open today!!)
