Re: NBA Thread (2024-2025) - Mavericks seppuku complete
Trading Luka was a bold move that could've worked but betting on Kyrie and Davis at their health and age was catastrophic. Kyrie's injury was not just coincidence as he was laying 39-40 minutes a game lately. They could've tried to get a million draft picks from the Spurs or something to team up Doncic and Wemby, or tried to get some guy like Franz Wagner that is at least perennial all-star talent.

Wemby's injury also is bad. I am thinking of a career closer to Yao Ming than an all time great one for him.

He has both extreme outcomes in play of never playing again if he has more blood clots like Bosh or ending up a top 5 player all time. Apparently Brandon Ingram had one in the same place as Wembanyama and ended up ok, though.

Lakers enter a slump and show they might not be as good as I thought. Of course I think with LeBron’s age we will have to wait for the playoffs to really know how good they can be

Grizzlies firing their coach right before the playoffs because think Finnish assistant guy is a genius and don't want anyone else to hire him was fine but Nuggets throwing Malone under the bus in the last week of the season is panican.

This is retarted. Why fire coach/GM just before playoffs. Should have at least waited until off season.

Reaves in his mid 20s might not be that much less valuable than old, always injured Davis, that the Mavs let the Lakers keep him and the pick they tried to trade for Mark Williams is what really cements insane trade.
