Very hyped. I cannot wait for the return. On CTV in Canada, they have yet to air the last two episodes, but I downloaded them. I think that next Sunday, and the Sunday after next, CTV will air those two episodes, and hopefully start airing Season 2. But, that's a large delay between the US airing and the Canadian airing, so I might download the episodes.

ahh, so you haven't seen the season finale yet?
that was by far the best episode of the season.
is CTV the same channel that shows Degrassi?

Yep, Degrassi is made on CTV.
And, I've seen the finale! I had to download the last two episodes, because I was anticipating them so much. On the 20th episode, they ended with the idea that Logan drugged Veronica at the party, so I had to find out. The season finale is probably the most exciting hour of television this season. Phenomenal! A damn tragedy that the Emmys snubbed the show entirely.
Can't wait to get the first season DVD! Five days before my birthday.

i can't believe the emmy's did that either. that would have gave the show a lot of exposure.
but at least kristen bell is singing in it. and she has the only solo.

I repeat...
Kristen Bell was HOT! She was the only person who could sing.

I think Kristen's performance was lip-synched, but no biggie. She's been on Broadway, and in a movie musical, so I know she can sing. Oh, and her singing from Veronica Mars.
Can't wait till Wednesday!!

Other shows in the hour are Related, E-Ring, Head Cases, Lost and Criminal Minds. The only show that will give it much competition is probably Lost, given that the other shows don't look that promising.
On the other hand, Veronica Mars will have to deal with the American Idol results show, which moves into the hour in January.

YES! Clash of the Tritons. I was just thinking "which episode was that?".
My biggest fear is that Veronica will be lost again in the ratings, and won't have a life-jacket of Emmy recognition like Arrested Development had.
What is with the Emmys and UPN/WB shows? Do they really hate these two networks or what?

I know! I think she's so great. I'm not one to gush over someone, but... come on! How could you not? It will be a crime if she loses out AGAIN at the major TV awards shows this year.

I think the Joss Whedon one is saying a lot.
he has a fan base of his own and on his site he basically praised veronica mars as better than some of his own shows.
the Kevin Smith thing i would think was really awesome if he didn't also guest star on Degrassi.
[which isn't a bad show just i don't feel it's of the same caliber]

What happened?! I remembered Thursday that the premiere was on Wednesday, but checked around and found out America's Next Top Model was on instead? Poo. So, it's returning this week, right?

Heck no! Veronica Mars is one of my favorite shows on TV, along with 24, Alias, Lost, House and Prison Break.

I am definitely looking forward to tonight's premiere. I just hate that it's up against monster hit LOST. What the hell were they thinking? It also faces competition from CRIMINAL MINDS on CBS and E-RING (even if this isn't a huge hit). I do think the premiere episode should receive its highest ratings yet, however I can't see it being up a lot in ratings because of LOST and because they didn't get the DVD of the first season out before the second started. Hopefully this will get a third season and they get the Season 2 DVD out before Season 3 starts so it can improve even more in ratings. I pray this does respectable enough and isn't completely eaten alive by LOST. People who watch both shows and have ratings things in their house should record LOST and watch VERONICA MARS because obviously LOST doesn't need the viewers like this does.
