Re: Some Kind of Beautiful
This is a gem, and I guess I'm surprised how this doesn't have reviews either, but then again, the site's been pretty niche from around the time this came out. I started to love this from the start and the first 3/4 of this are really great, then towards the end it unfortunately loses itself a bit. The cast is excellent, from the kid to McDowell and everyone in between, Hayek and Alba are great as stepsisters and nobody could have played the part of the suave womanizer better than Brosnan. The score is very good too and I was just really into this film, it's humorous and sexy, and quite unromantic actually in a way though, ironic with Brosnan playing a romantics professor and maybe because of that this gets misunderstood by some too. I had a very good time with it anyway, and it may grow on me too. Oh, and I saw this under the EU title, "Teach Me Love", which I think is pretty terrible, as is "Lessons in Love", I think it should have just been released as "How to Make Love Like an Englishman" only, but "Some Kind of Beautiful" works about as good too. Weird how they really mumbo jumbo'd the different names for this film.

Re: Some Kind of Beautiful
Yeah, it appears this didn't even get a North American release, so it's in fact the film that is pretty niche, and it's a shame as this really deserves a bigger audience.
