I eat both but the size is just more comfortable for english muffins, and "bagel sandwich" with multiple things on it like lettuce and meat doesn't quite work for me compared to a real sandwich or a McDonalds mcmuffin type. I do think the relationship between bagel and cream cheese is nice.

Subway

Don't like either. But I'd rather have burgers, fries and chicken over a sandwich. Though italians are pretty darn good.

I appreciate both but Mcdonalds has some exceptional items like their fries, mcmuffins, nuggets and Big Mac

Subway is honestly more consistent, but I like MD's menu better and in the end they win on their milkshake alone.
