JFK assassination poll
On 57th anniversary and with people as distrustful of the government as ever, what's your take?

Re: JFK assassination poll
LHO obviously involved but clearly more to it than they ever announced.

Re: JFK assassination poll
Roger Stone wrote a book a few years ago claiming it was LBJ, I have not read it but I'm swayed by the idea since the motive and opportunity are both perfect
Motive: - Become president (maybe his only chance for health reasons and it's thought JFK would drop him off the ticket) - In trouble due to his tope aide Bobby Baker being under investigation, and in Frank Underwood-ing in general (I think he was the inspiration for Frank) and rumored stolen senate election earlier in his career. Possible it was a decision between become president vs go to jail and have name soiled forever. - Hated the Kennedys in general - Maybe he justified it to himself due to his civil rights plans
Opportunity: - Took place in his home state where he has deep connections to both the governor (who got shot, mind you) and oil men, which would allow him to set up the security and motorcade beautifully. Then what better way to pull off the cover-up than becoming president and tanking the investigation - Crazy story connection to a a hitman Mac Wallace and his sister, apparently Mac killed this guy his sister was having an affair with, then LBJ helped get him out of jail. So Wallace would be the triggerman, I believe. Possible few other people would have to know except him and LBJ both of whom died within a decade.

Re: JFK assassination poll
There was definitely more to it than it just being Oswald and I'm fascinated by the event. JFK is one of my favorite films. Still no idea what's the most likely scenario though but LBJ sounds plausible because of the above.

Re: JFK assassination poll
While it wouldn't change who the attempted assassin is, a wild theory I've heard is that after the initial shots, a security guard riding in the car ahead accidentally fired his gun and that was the one that blew JFK's head off.
