So nice to see one of her best songs get #1. 1989 TV is gonna be interesting. Style deserved #1 so bad.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
So the 10 minute version counts as remix right? I'm cool with it.
Red remake also posted 600k "album" sales, which is over double what Fearless did (~275k if I recall.) Have the artists found a new way to scam the system or is Red really that much popular?
Can Adele get the entire top 12 next week? Not even Drake has accomplished that.

And probably All Too Well and the Ed Sheeran songs. I see just 2 or three Adele songs in the top 10. Oh My God and possibly I Drink Wine or Can I Get It

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Billboard says Blinding Lights is now the most successful song of all time, unseating "The Twist" after 60+ years.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Such a random achievement. Well, maybe not "random" exactly, just a very unusual achievement to accomplish.
It's a good enough song and everything, it's just so weird that it is the first song in 60+ years to break that record. Or, perhaps it's more unusual that no song between then and now was capable of doing it first?
I don't know. It's just weird.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
30 had about 860k in album "sales". I'm pretty sure that is the most for an album that has gone straight to streaming (25 was not available on streaming for a few months, thus its absurd sales numbers) but if Adele can't hit one milllion then who can? Is it an achievement we will never see again?
Also, Industry Baby is awful, one of the worst big hits we've had in awhile.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Really hoping We Don’t Talk About Bruno can hit top 10. The number one gap is widening on Spotify but no radio will hurt it, plus The Weeknd album will distract.

I'm surprised Disney has not pulled it from Spotify in favor of the spanish song.

Weeknd didn't get a song in top 10 and barely missed #1 on B200. Eek.

Surface Pressure has also hit top ten now. Still can't get that pesky Adele out of the top spot though.

Easy on Me is more popular than I would have thought. If not for Christmas and Taylor's 10 minute, it could be a 14 week #1 right now.
