Re: F&F9 (INTL) Its already started its release? That's surprising I thought it will release from early-to-mid June onwards.
That's a great start as for the potential I do think it can do $500m WW with non-China countries and the rest will depend on China.

Re: F&F9 (INTL) I just realised that F&F9 was delayed by a month here due to higher restrictions with few new COVID clusters. That's a great opening in China though I feel its less for this movie.

Re: F&F9 (INTL) Still think it's low for China. The last one did like $80m+ on opening day if I remember correctly. I know we are talking about pandemic numbers but still this opening is not enough to get it past $1b.

Wonder how that plays out, but a shame if true. Before the pandemic the movie looked bad now without many options it looked great doesn't mean the movie will become good. But then again when has quality impacted BO in China. I don't remember these movies having great WOM even in China mostly just passable enough.
