Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
There’s gotta be some type of “the snap made her more powerful” explanation coming. I know he had five of the stones, but Thanos handled Wanda pretty easily in Infinity War before getting that purple ass whooped in Endgame. Perhaps the recessive mutant gene being brought out by cosmic forces is the best way to introduce mutants, and have people resentful of them because of Post-Snap trauma.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
Wanda and many more beat Thanos in Endgame "because" he does not have the stones AND all the Avengers were fighting together. With Thanos having the stones (even 2 of them) none of the individual superhero stood a chance against him.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
The finale was not bad but it was too safe. There are lots of stories left hanging here, possibly for future versions to explore but overall a satisfactory series and does what it promised.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
I enjoyed the finale, but just as I expected I get the feeling alot of people are not going to be satisfied with it, especially with the whole Ralph/Quicksilver reveal which might be some of the best trolling ever by Marvel to date. Elizabeth Olsen looked amazing in that new SW outfit though and overall I still think the show itself delivered.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “Previously On”
Loved the finale and that 2nd post credit scene. We will see Wanda, the kids and Agnes again in Dr. Strange 2 We will see White Vision aka New Vision in Armor Wars with War Machine. We will see Monica Rambeau return in Captain Marvel 2 & Secret Invasion. We will see Ralph aka Fox's Pietro back in his home watching 80's action movies

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
this show became so boring and mediocre after the first two episodes. the finale was typical MCU blandness.

The finale was ok but there was so much more they could’ve done.

Finale was weak. Disappointed, I really thought from the first few episodes this was gonna be groundbreaking lol but overall it was still a decent watch.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
Also a little disappointed, but only because of what came before. If the entire show had been meh this would have been a great and very exciting finale. Instead it just left everyone wanting a little more ... strangeness I suppose. Instead it felt like the last half hour of any movie with lots of punching and beams of light. There should have been more of a discussion on whether Vision and the kids were really alive, and I also think she should have just kept them (with fake Agnes/Quicksilver)and the house active for whenever she needs a little bit of a vacation/therapy.
Overall it was still a great show though. I look forward to watching it all in one sitting someday and seeing how that affects the pacing. Maybe the final battle will seem more appropriate then, as it usually does in the movies.
A+ through first 8 episodes, B+ for 9.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
I really think the episode should have started with one more fake sitcom bit. That would show that, even after learning the truth from Agatha, Wanda was still not ready to let go. Then it breaks when she lets the townfolk run free and then we get the real final battle.

And Dr. Strange should have been in one of the stingers. Or Wong or even Mordo. How do 99% of the world’s sorcerers miss out on this event?

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
I'm guessing they didn't negotiate any TV appearances for Benedict when they did their initial contract so that's probably why he didn't appear. To be fair, the original plan for MCU was to have WandaVision end about a month before Doctor Strange 2 came so the gap between the two was going to be short so you didn't need some major set up (whereas the Captain Marvel 2 setup was a bigger reveal because the gap at the time was still going to be 1+ year).

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
That's probably true regarding Benedict's contract, but couldn't they bring one of the side characters? Like what are Chiwetel and Rachel McAdams so busy with that they can't do a cameo? Despite all the complaints, there was a lot to like. "We've said goodbye before, so it stands to reason we will say hello again."

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
Overall this show was good but far from reached the potential set up early on.
I wonder what the Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be like.

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
You are stupid for wanting Strange here. This was Wanda's story through and through she doesn't need side characters

Re: Wandavision Thread- “The Series Finale”
I thought the finale was great - very exciting and emotional. Elizabeth Olsen was just fantastic in this series, and it in my opinion was one of the better Marvel outings in recent years.

Re: Wandavision
I just binged it and it's close to great TV. It doesn't quite manage to have the luster of an MCU film, but it ties in to the universe very well and that makes it enjoyable. Olsen and Hahn are fantastic in it and the sitcom progressions are fun.
