Croods 2 early #s (wow remember when this was a thing)
Deadline reporting $1.8m Wednesday for Croods which actually doesn't seem that bad? Who knows though given their track record with projections before but *shrug*
I remember when Bond first moved to November I was like "seriously?" and now... lol

That's not bad. I hope that something could finally do $100m to give BO it's much needed break through.

I wanna see it just because it’s a semi big release that doesn’t suck being released to theaters haha.

Deadline is saying $14.2 for the 5-day... considering the **** grosses we've had recently that actually seems decent, especially with major states closed. Wonder what it would've done if CA/NY were open.

Honestly pretty good. They should have opened Wonder Woman in early October. Would have at least opened to 30 Million. Theaters certainly could have used that. Christmas would have been too late for a traditional theatrical release with many places shutting down and cases surging.

So Croods 2 did end up with $14.1m over 5-day weekend which is great and as a weekend its higher than that of Tenet's. Let's hope we get to see great legs given the holiday season and it ends up with a respectable $60m-$65m total.

That would be nice but considering more and more theaters are being forced to shut down I'm not sure it can make it. Plus it's PVOD for Christmas which will cut into its legs. I love that it did well though and wish someone would have been ballsy enough to release something enough people wanted to see sooner.

Agreed. I really want studios to try with a big movie for a change.

Judging by the low ratings for sports, you could argue half the reason for deflated box office is people were distracted by the election
