Have you done it? And if not, how much would they have to pay you to do it?

I do want to do it some day. It seems like it would be fun.

But I'm not brave enough to do it without getting paid. $1,000 would do.

A billion. If I'm jumping out of a plane then I need to make sure it's the last time I do something that I don't want to. One way or the other.

Though I'd also do it if my plane were about to crash. Fear > death.

For 1 million I would probably have to do it. Would have to put faith in the stats saying you’re more likely to die driving to the skydiving place than doing the actual jump. For $100,000 I might take the plane ride up but I’m not sure I could muster the courage to ump.

Yes I've done it a number of years back - From 12-14,000 ft. Loved it! The free fall is amazing. You are on a high for a good day or two afterwards.

The scariest part (in hindsight) is the landing.

I have done it when I lived in Ocean City in summer 2018. It was surprisingly easy, you're strapped to someone who does all the hard work. I kind of sat in their lap and they pushed us out, I was just along for the ride.

The harness really hurts as you fall with the parachute and go up and back down. Worst wedgie ever.

I did it over Fox Glacier in Zealand with my dad and sister. We dropped at about 16,500 feet.

The surreal part is just the initial jump out of the plane, particularly if you're the last one to go. Watching other people just jump out kinda shocks you. And then all of a sudden you just step out and jump and for a second you feel like you're just decided to end your life.

But once you start falling and you realize just how secure you are, it just becomes like a roller coaster ride that progressively gets worse cause after you open up the chute it's not as exciting.

I enjoyed it and am glad I did it cause its a experience you always remember but I also wouldn't really do it again because the utility I would get from a second dive wouldn't be that much.

Spot on.

Other people jumping out look disappear like bullets. At that point you want to crawl back into the plane - but the free fall is just amazing and you wish it lasted longer than it actually does.

Bungee jumping and leaping out of a perfectly working plane are two things where I draw the line. For $100k though....sure. 1000s of people have done it and survived.
