No worries, I had no idea either until I saw it's run.

Weekend 1 (15-17 November): £2,654,354 (opened above Le Man '66 (Ford V Ferrari)'s £2M)
Weekend 2 (22-24 November): £2,251,947 (-15.2%)/£6,736,745
Weekend 3 (29 Nobember-1 December): £1,654,646 (-26.5%)/£9,952,174
Weekend 4 (6-8 December): £1,318,062 (-20.3%)/£12,474,204
Weekend 5 (13-15 December): £1,288,646 (-2.2%)/£14,945,504

Should have another stellar hold this upcoming weekend and end the year falling off a cliff due to ti the nature of Christmas films of course. Probably going to end somewhere around the £17.5-18M mark after it collapses when Christmas is said and done. Currently, it's standing at a 5.631x multiplier! If we suggest a finish of £17.5M that brings it up to 6.593x that also puts it above The Favourite for the year.

Post Re: The UK Box Office Thread
Rth over on Box Office Theory has suggested The Rise of Skywalker is looking at a 3-day of £14M and a 4 day of £21M. This would be down 25% from The Last Jedi, it would also be down 38.3% from The Force Awakens. An opening at this level would put it at #8 on the all-time list below Toy Story 3 (2010) with £21.2M and above Skyfall (2012) with £20.2M.

Screen Daily is saying The Rise of Skywalker had a $26.8M debut, which is roughly £20.6M for the 4-day weekend.

Also, Frozen II stands at around £41.5M, while Jumanji: The Next Level stands at £15.1M, Jumanji 2 was at £17.8M after its second weekend BUT that was after the Christmas holiday so it had a big advantage, we'll have to see how high Jumanji 3 can go.

Also, Knives Out at £9.6M

Last Christmas has reached £17.1M before the Christmas period, probably going to end just outside the top 20 films of 2019.

#20 or not that VERY impressive for Last Christmas. Is Emilia Clark a bigger draw in the UK?

Also where do you see Star Wars and Jumanji ending-up in totals and in the Top 20 of the year list?

Star Wars will likely end around £60M at number 4. I can see Jumanji between 7 and 9 depending on whether it can pass £37M or whether it falls a bit short.

I wonder if they'll be expanding Parasite further.

Seems like it has a good chance to become highest-grossing non-English language film ever here?
