January 24-26 predictions.
I think the Gentlemen looks pretty fun but I doubt it does above 10m.
The Turning - 11 The Gentlemen - 9
Bad Boys could potentially be #1 3 weeks in a row.

The Gentlemen is gonna breakout for what it is. I see at least high teens and the potential for 20m+. The trailer did really well in front of 1917.

The Gentlemen is certainly a lot of fun. It’s done big numbers here on Oz but that’s also because it was released during the prime summer holiday and British films play well here. I do think it can get to $15m though.

Bad Boys breaking out will hurt The Gentlemen even if they don't exactly target the same demos. Would be happy with $10-$12m for it.

Re: January 24-26 predictions.
Presales for both the movies are horrible though Gentlemen is ahead of turning. I am seeing 0.5m previews for Gentlemen while Turning numbers look so bad studio may not even bother to report :-).
Bad Boys 3 - 30m 1917 - 12m Dolittle - 10m Gentlemen - 9m Turning - 5m

Re: January 24-26 predictions.
As much as I would love to see The Gentlemen breakout I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it and The Turning failed to crack double digits, although I do hope that doesn't end up being the case. Guy Ritchie's previous gangster films have never done well in the U.S. even with someone like Brad Pitt attached who was still in his prime when Snatch came out, and while I do think that The Turning looks decent I haven't seen any real marketing for it.

Re: January 24-26 predictions.
Showtimes for The Turning were not listed at my cinema (an independent chain) until yesterday. I suspect they made a last minute decision to show the movie at this location. Not a vote of confidence.
