Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Apparently Madonna just scored her 9th #1 album and one of the single's is tearing up the dance charts.

Lil Nas X came out. Good for him, but its not gonna be a popular move amongst either the country or hip-hop communities. Could it cost them the record?

Held off Senorita for week #13. Needs four more to be crown all-time champ now.
Sunflower is finally out of the top ten, though I could see it making a return thanks to Spiderverse hitting netflix.

Post Malone will head for that number 2, can he be the eighth song blocked?

Yep Goodbyes will likely finish at 2.
There’s a new version of Bad Guy with Bieber doing the second verse. Can they combine that with the airplay, downloads, streams of the original?

I don't think so, Billie fans seem to hate it.

Goodbyes debuts at #3. OTR has two weeks to go and what could possibly stop it at this point?

Does Bad Guy have a chance at number 1 with the remix?

OTR is guaranteed to break the record unless Bad Guy somehow fills the gap.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Though the billboard article said that it is only leading BG at a 1.3-1 rate this week compared to 1.5-1 last week and 1.9-1 the week before. So OTR might have to sweat after all.

And it had such a crazy run, holding off multitudes of A-listers and the hottest pop song of 2019 (Bad Guy). It’s far worse than the sixteen week number ones. It’s not even close.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Old Town Road intrigues me.
I rarely hear it on the radio and it has relatively low youtube views.

I don't know if I ever hear *any* of the top songs on the radio. The radio seems to be months behind, always.

I rarely hear it on the radio and it has relatively low youtube views. It has a buttload of YouTube views because the hot 100 formula takes user generated memes into account. Bad Guy would be number one for a couple weeks now without YouTube.

New Ariana Grande song could challenge for number one. Could be close. Too bad the song sucks.
