I hope Halsey’s “Nightmare” delivers enough to knock OTR off the top.

This week:
1. Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus “Old Town Road” (flat)
2. Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber “I Don’t Care” (debut)
3. Jonas Brothers “Sucker” (up)
4. Billie Eilish “Bad Guy” (up)
5. Post Malone “Wow.” (up)
6. Post Malone and Swae Lee “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)” (up)
7. Sam Smith and Normani “Dancing With a Stranger” (up)
8. Taylor Swift feat. Brendon Urie "Me!" (down)
9. Khalid “Talk” (up)
10. Halsey “Without Me” (down)

A Tyler, the Creator song will probably hit top 10 next week. Halsey will probably miss but has a chance at top 20 with how weak the charts are, even though it will have less points than Without Me.

I'm always surprised that artists like Ciara or Carly (or Iggy previously) can do this poorly. They can't even show up in like the top 200 of Spotify or top 50 albums. You would think being famous names alone would drive some interest, and they're doing pretty good work. Not sure why a radio friendly song like Thinkin Bout You by Ciara can't land

2. Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber “I Don’t Care” (debut)

Just heard this song Sunday. Pretty good

OTR is #5 on apple right now behind Earfquake, two DJ Khalid songs and Suge. So it is finally showing some signs of vulnerability, but I’m betting it will still be awhile before something else is strong enough to take the throne. My prediction is Bad Guy in 4 weeks.

Katy Perry’s new song is so good. I so hope it helps her come back after Witness and 365.

Billie returned to #1 on the albums chart. It's only a matter of time.

You got #9 backwards. :P

Though after reading the article on billboard I’m wondering if my July prediction might have been too soon. They said Old Town Road has a 3-1 points lead and even though it fell on Apple, it was still the fifth all-time highest streaming performance and it now holds eight of the top ten spots.

Drake and Chris Brown released a song that could be the OTR killer. It only needs 6 more weeks to break the record though.

Next week should see Taylor and Drake debut top 10! Will we see a sixth song be blocked at number 2?

Your turn again, Taylor.

She has the advantage of a better song and a trending, celebrity-filled video this time.

Also Jonas Brothers had the highest numbers of the year on the album side - kinda surprised they beat Grande.

Old Town Road streams are too strong, Taylor is getting bloxked again. Mess.

I kinda like Money In The Grave. Reminds me of an Eminem album-track. And having Rick Ross always helps.

Money in the Grave sounds so not radio friendly that it makes the Scorpion singles look like Maroon 5. Cannot imagine it has longevity. Will debut top 10 and crash

Seniorita looks like another number 2 blocked by Old Town Road. And it looks like Panini should debut top 10 as well. Lil Nas may not be a one hit wonder.

Unreal. Needs what, 4 more weeks to break the record?

4 to match, 5 to break.

I’m thinking it ties it, but fails to break it.

I don't remember Despecito being constantly bombarded by new songs from A-Listers. And the hot 100 was a different entity when Mariah and B2M originally set the record. This Old Town Road run is the most impressive of modern era even if it doesn't get to it Despecito. Though at this point, what could possibly top it in time? OTR has already overtaken Mendes/Camila on iTunes and apple music. I don't even think Bad Guy will be able to get there in time anymore. Guys, Old Town Road might just be #1 for the rest of our lives.
