Under $50m 4-day is possible, especially with anticipated poor WOM. I expect a weak IM with the NFL Championship games Sunday and winter storms.

Yeah that number doesn't sound too good. Unless it has huge walkups its likely going to miss $50M for the 3-Day and could even miss for the 4-Day depending on how frontloaded it is.

Sorry, why is this supposed to be bad?

Split did 2.0 on its way to a 40m 3 day weekend in late Jan, albeit a week after MLK weekend. So...

Yeah, it's not bad at all. Doubling Split's previews is pretty decent. I do think there was potential for this to be an event but reviews and Unbreakable hardly being a remembered film were obstacles.

MLK Weekend is pretty tough. Anything over $15m Friday will surprise me.

It’s bad because we are all expecting the movie to be very frontloaded. If it has legs like Split then it is actually damn decent.

It's alright but certainly disappointing. Reviews really hurt it. We'll see how it does over the weekend. It's still going to be a solid opening and more than Split most likely. But it had potential to do quite a bit more before reviews.
