Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
From movie news site Le Cinephiles: Quote: BREAKING: Tom Cruise has revealed that he will not stop doing ‘MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE’ films until he dies.
The superstar stated:
“I’m genuinely serious, we’re gonna keep making them until I kill myself on set. I came pretty close this time, so who knows how many are left?” Yay! the more, the better

If he is the villain, they could make it much more obvious, which makes me doubt that he is. Maybe he is from a competing international spy agency (an audition for Bond, perhaps). It shows Cavill shooting at Cruise's helicopters. It also shows them fighting together in the bathroom. Yeah, I was right. You guys were fooled by editing. The editor got fooled by his own craft, eh Gun? The bathroom fight was just posted on Facebook. Cavill and Cruise are together fighting an Asian man. Awesome fight, by the way.

Man, could this overtake Solo and Ant-Man to become the 5th biggest movie of the summer? Everything seems to be going its way right now...

I'll believe it when I see it because Americans seem to never want to forget Cruise as the crazy Scientologist that jumps on couches. I wouldn't be surprised if a sexual assault allegation is revealed a few days before it opens.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
I think this got through it's "controversy" already with the Cavill stuff.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
Nobody gives a shit about Cavill's accurate statement. A small minority of women who do not like being hit on now set the rules for all women. An enormous amount of women who enjoy flirting and being made to feel attractive by men are now lonely because are terrified that even harmless flirting will be interpreted as harassment or something else.
What is even more hilarious is the backlash that Cavil'ls remark received only further proved his point that people have become far too oversensitive to the point where people are afraid to say anything at all. His point is easy to understand.

I don't see Cavill statement making an impact. He'll probably gain some supporters for it for some of the people he lost

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
It's interesting that people instantly jumped on him instead of trying to understand what he said. Good men are now feeling victimised. But the misandrist Twitter police still own that feeling so they quickly felt threatened by his comment and had to set it right. And his pathetic apology just fell right in line like a good little boy.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
Not really worth a discussion, but there are a few layers to it.
1. His statement was stupid. I, a normal person, feel like I could still flirt with a woman without being accused of anything. Because I know I'm not a jerkoff who would do something offensive. The thinking that women are suddenly going to start accusing innocent guys of harassment is stupid. Don't be a jerkoff and you'll be fine. 2. The reaction is stupid. Is it really a big deal if he feels that way? So what if he does. Let him not flirt with women, I guess? People that react over the top to dumb statements like this are dumb.

Re: Mission Impossible: Fallout
I love this poster. Seems to be the final look/style of the campaign, and hopefully how it will be remembered.
