Thought it might be good to have a thread for this if anyone cares. Starting in 4 minutes...

Re: 2018 Oscar Chat
Good for Rockwell. He’s been a staple since the new century, delivering great performances time and time again. So even though he is young, and deserved it for this role, this works as a legacy award too since they now won’t have to reward him later on.

Can you play off a presenter? Holy shit, I know she's old and a legend, but come on.

Re: 2018 Oscar Chat
I like how Guillermo (Kimmel not Del Toro) is just sitting in the audience. You'd think he'd be backstage with the writers or not there at all, but nope, he has a (pretty good) seat.

Ok, if these commercials mean anything, Lady Bird is winning.

Re: 2018 Oscar Chat
These packages are such a waste of time. They’re well edited and everything, but why do you have to sell the greatness of movies to people watching the oscars? And then they complain about how long the show is and pressure winners into running off the stage at the end.

Of course, it wil be HUGE if it does. I feel a win for it will greatly impact its box office. Might be one of the most under-the-radar noms from this year.

Gee, the two stars of Baby Driver introducing sound mixing. What's going to win?

Re: 2018 Oscar Chat
Ha, suck it stars Baby Driver (for now, I'm sure they're presenting the next one)!

Christ. It's been an hour and only three wins (the same amount there was after 30 minutes!!). What's going on?

Re: 2018 Oscar Chat
Well that was nice of the Academy. Have the stars of Baby Driver give the awards they best had a shot to win to Dunkirk.
