They would do pretty well. They need to get on that.

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi Predictions
Now having seen it, depending on opening weekend, it isn’t hitting $700m. I appreciate Disney for taking risks, and they’ve made a very good movie in the process, but this isn’t something the mainstream public will be revisiting too often (at least in theaters).
I’ve been wrong before though.

To get an idea about what legs this film might have:
It opened to a 77 audience rating on Flixster and an 8.2 on IMDb.

Because fanboys torpedoed it in the days before its release after reading spoilers.

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi Predictions
It’s dropped another four points to 73. That took an hour. Fanboys, maybe, but that’s a lot of negativity. There should be a lot of five star ratings off-setting it and that doesn’t seem to be happening.
I had no idea RT even updated their scores that quickly.

Fingers crossed - I'm the only one who voted $650m - $700m in the poll!

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi Predictions
While you will be closest I think TLJ will end short of that $650m mark now.

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi Predictions
Each second Star Wars chapter made about 70% the gross of its predecessor. TLJ is tracking to do that very same thing (~$655m) and will likely surpass it!
