How is that good for JL? Fantastic Beasts and Mockingjay both increased 15%+ on the equivalent day. Justice League dropped, if only by a little.

Re: Early Wednesday #s
We are going to be very close to a stat that both JL and BVS combined barely beat TDK, and no chance adjusted.
208 million Batman & Robin adjusted. How much will it pass it by?

Its not great ofcourse but still not entirely bad. It looks like it will loose the #1 rank over the 3-day weekend to Coco at the current pace.

My mom was begging me to tell her what film to bring my niece to. And I shrugged. Usually you get those Hotel Transylvania films in in fall to tide them over but this year we got Bladerunner, Kingsmen, and It. Though I got my niece into Matilda yesterday which was huge. I hadn't seen it since I was a kid, it's a pretty F'ed up movie. I've never seen my niece terrified, but she was so enthralled, and laughing so much. I was actually really happy because I really am against kids only watching "good family" movies.

WTF I was just saying since it had a lower opening day there's little reason to expect it to out gross either of those films.

Re: Early Wednesday #s
Even with market starving for kids films I don't think Coco is going to that big of a number. Its marketing was much weaker than Moana so it might get good legs with a better Cinemascore but its surely not out-opening Moana with the OD number.
