Nothing we haven't seen before. In all honesty, I cannot really remember much of it as it's so short. When I came out I didn't refer to that part or make a special note of it at all. I only call it the "No Man's Land sequence" because I've since read it on KJ.

Post Re: Wonder Woman
I enjoyed the first half of Wonder Woman up to when they get to the front (though I wish the origin story was at least twice as long). I thought the curiously flat tone of the movie worked in the movie's favor. Gal Gadot makes a fine Wonder Woman despite her accent, but Chris Pine wore out his welcome well before the end of the movie. All the other characters added color, but there were so many of them that the movie never really gave any of them their due. The second half of the movie switched to the stock superhero script, so the predictability grew tiresome. Still it was better than 75% of the recent superhero movies. A solid *B*

What a horrible comparison.

I was expecting to be disappointed after the other, terrible movies in this series, but damn that was a great movie. It was perhaps the first emotionally moving superhero movie I have seen since the Dark Knight movies. Some gripes with the Zach Snyder esque fighting sequences and the Germans speaking English, but otherwise best superhero movie in years (have not seen Logan yet).

The pacing leading up No Man's land and Steve's sacrifice at the end. The latter was especially well done where I was not as impressed by Steve Rodgers in Captain America. Steve in Wonder Woman not only has an arc that leads to that moment, but it also plays a foil to Ares speech at the time. It was built up over the film, and Steve kind of being an asshole made this moment work better. Rodgers in Caprain America was too expected and not as well earned.

It's a good scene, but honestly I got the same amount of enjoyment out of it as I did the Warehouse sequence in BvS.

Fair enough. I wasn't fully engaged that close to the end (quite bored and drowsy), so I did not have the same experience.

Well someone has to do it for the both of us. ;)

No, it's a horrible comparison because the "bullet time" sequence in The Matrix is praised solely on its groundbreaking (at the time) special effects and how cool it looked. The No Man's Land sequence is being praised for entirely different reasons that you would ignore/would never praise based on your persona, and that's fine. The movie was never going to be for you going in. I'm not even sure why you wasted money on it, but Warners thanks you!

And if Wonder Woman ends up being the best film this year, 2017 at the movies will have sucked.

Yeah Wonder Woman is better than the legion of recent Marvel films, but it's goofy final fight scene limits it. Unlike the Dark Knight movies it does not transcend the genre outside of its cultural relavance.

It's hilarious that you're "OK!" with bullying, as long as it's just one person, and that person is a girl.

What difference does it make that she's a girl? Aren't you one of those progressive liberals that despises the era where females were inferior to males and needed males to protect them? Aren't both genders equal? Or at least isn't that what your type strives for? That person being a girl (calling Libs a girl is arguable, but we'll leave that there) should not come into the equation. In fact, you have presented yourself as the true sexist by expressing gender bias towards the "girl".

Further proof that Chippy is not responsible enough to be a moderator. He cannot be neutral. He is still removing whatever does not suit his agenda but leaving the stuff that does.
