Re: The DVD/Blu-ray Rental and Purchase Thread
Batch 2 - A- (Gattaca, Magnolia are absolutely great and Shakespeare in Love is very good, Frequency is alright too) Batch 3 - B+ (Room and The Big Short's inclusion still make it a very good selection) Batch 1 - C+ (quite meh really, only the Shallows I'd consider watching (again) on that list.

Bought
Hugo (3D) Jason Bourne
I was under the impression that the 3D version of Hugo was OOP, but $13 through the Best Buy app pretty much made it a must buy (and much better than having to pay $35 for it on Amazon).

You own BvS? Ugh. And Creed isn't special. Neither is The Force Awakens.

Of course I have great taste. My Mel Gibson Collection is a bit more complete. Feels good.

Re: The DVD/Blu-ray Rental and Purchase Thread
So it's called The First Avenger: Civil War in Austria? Is there something anti-American going on?

Re: The DVD/Blu-ray Rental and Purchase Thread
The second film was called The Return of the First Avenger. Disney just thinks that "Captain America" doesn't sell here. Which is stupid because everyone is calling the films Captain America here anyway.

Re: The DVD/Blu-ray Rental and Purchase Thread
The DVD/Blu-ray industry seems to have taken a hit since Trump has become president, no purchases sales since and only a few rentals so far this month.

Re: The DVD/Blu-ray Rental and Purchase Thread
January and February were boring months for releases. Now we're getting into the Oscar films, and for me personally, I either haven't seen them (half) or I can wait until the price goes down. La La Land is the only one I plan on buying the week it comes out.

He does, but he's a cheap skate, so he waits for the bargain bin discounts.
