RoboCop is very strong overseas, now thanks to China. BTW, I noticed that it received an exclusive 3D-release in China too, so that helped. It is looking at a minimum of $180 milion overseas, though could also reach $200 million. Too bad it flopped domestically because otherwise I could see a sequel happening. I suppose it needed $300 million worldwide, though for that to happen.

Noah opens to $1.1m OD in South Korea

Quote:
The Paramount and Regency Enterprises epic from Darren Aronofsky delivered the biggest opening day in South Korea so far this year from 730 screens.

Sources at the studio claimed the debut was on a par with the opening days of each of Gravity and Inception.

The Biblical epic also arrives this weekend in Mexico, one week before North America. Australia and Russia are the next two major markets on March 27. The UK Brazil, Germany and France will open in early-to-mid April.

That's pretty good, but in South Korea, films drop off fast, so it won't finish with a great total. But enough to make it an Intl hit.

Seems impressive to me so far. It's already beaten The Incredible Hulk and Captain America: The First Avenger, and is closing in on Thor and Iron Man among Marvel's first wave of superhero films.

And it just opened in 11 markets this past week, and still has 9 left which include Germany, Japan, China, and Italy, so there's still a lot of money to come in.

Looks like it could do $400-450 million overseas to me, so maybe $700 million worldwide. Basically doing comparable numbers as establish franchises like Spider-Man, X-Men, and Captain America is really strong in my mind.

Dayum!! That Transformers numbers is really baffling. Maleficent is taking a bit longer than expected to cross X-Men OS total.

Maleficent's overseas total hasn't been updated anywhere yet, but it should have added about $2 million. And BOM hasn't updated Godzilla in weeks, but it's easy to figure out since it's just playing in Japan now basically (but it's an estimate anyway).

It looks like The Expendables 3 will make over $200m worldwide. It's already over $160m ($125m OS). It still has Japan and Italy and another $20m from China.

Hollywood Reporter has its WW cume at 124 million WW, not overseas. Last weekend it was only at 71 OS.
